Who is responsible? James, trading as codingbyJD, is responsible for the details submitted through this website. Contact: codingbyjd@outlook.com.
What details are collected?
Your name and email address, optional phone number, BMW/MINI model and year, optional chassis series, requested service, optional preferred date, and any message you choose to provide. Please do not send a full vehicle identification number, account password or security code.
Why are they used?
codingbyJD uses the information to review your request, check vehicle compatibility, respond to you, and arrange a booking if you choose to proceed. The details are not used for unrelated marketing. We process enquiry details to take steps you request before entering into a service contract. For confirmed work, we use relevant details to provide the service and meet applicable record-keeping obligations.
Who may process the information?
This website uses Netlify for hosting and request handling, Supabase for the private enquiry dashboard, and Resend to deliver notification and receipt emails. These providers process information to operate the requested service.
How long is it kept?
Enquiries that do not become bookings are kept for up to 12 months after the last contact, then securely deleted from the dashboard and business email where practical. If an enquiry becomes a booking, relevant records may be kept for as long as needed to provide the service, meet applicable record-keeping obligations, or handle a dispute.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to access or correct your information, or ask about deletion, restriction or objection where those rights apply. Contact codingbyjd@outlook.com. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
Security
The private dashboard requires an owner sign-in, and customer requests are restricted to the owner account. Do not send sensitive vehicle security information through this form.
